Successful cooperation ARISF-IFMA leads to unification of Muaythai in Italy

June 14, 2018

ARISF believes strongly in the concept of a unified front to support the healthy development of the sport on all levels. Over the last few years IFMA, ARISF International Federation Member, has initiated rigorous efforts to unify all Muaythai groups within the member countries.

The unification processes have been accomplished in cooperation with the international sport governing bodies and national Olympic committees, in line with the interests of ARISF International Federations such as IFMA.

Italy has become the latest member to sign this important MOU unifying the two national Muaythai federations in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee, the CONI.

The signing ceremony took place in Rome in presence of the ARISF President Raffaele Chiulli, IFMA General Secretary Stephan Fox, CONI representative Anna Riccardi, FIKBMS President Donato Milano, FIMT President Mauro Bassetti and IFMA Executive Board Member Davide Carlot.

ARISF President Raffaele Chiulli stated: "IFMA is an important member in the IOC recognised sporting family and I applaud IFMA's initiatives to work for the overall sport development in each country". “This cooperation was very important and its significance was truly highlighted by the presence of both the ARISF President and CONI representative at the signing ceremony” IFMA General Secretary Stephan Fox stated.
