26 September 2005 - ARISF President and President Emeritus meet IOC President

Earlier this month, ARISF President Jan Fransoo and President Emeritus Ron Froehlich (who also is President of the International World Games Association) were received by the IOC President Dr Jacques Rogge at the IOC Headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Two main topics were on the agenda of the meeting. The relationship between the IOC and the Recognized Federations was discussed, along with the ways in which the IOC could support the Recognized Federations. Furthermore, there was an extensive exchange of thoughts on the necessary changes to the Olympic Program and the, for ARISF members very unsatisfactory, results of the decisions taken at the 117th IOC Session in Singapore.
